COMPOSITION:  
Each 5ml contains : Deflazacort 6 mg

DESCRIPTION:
Deflazacort is a steroid (Glucocorticoids). It is used in the treatment of various conditions like allergic joint, and muscle disorders. Deflazacort may improve muscle strength and slow the progression of disability.it works by inhibiting the chemical substances that cause inflammation and allergic reactions. Deflazacort should not be given to a child younger than 2 years old.

INDICATIONS:
Asthma, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Acute allergic reactions

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Avoid use Deflazacort syrup if you are on live vaccination like measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), polio, rotavirus, typhoid, yellow fever, varicella (chickenpox), zoster (shingles), and nasal flu (influenza) vaccine. Ask your doctor before getting any vaccine. Grapefruit juice may interact with deflazacort and lead to unwanted side effects. Avoid the use of grapefruit products while taking deflazacort.

SIDE EFFECTS:
Signs of an allergic reaction, eg. difficult breathing, swelling in your face or throat) or a severe skin reaction (fever, sore throat, burning eyes, skin pain, red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling)

DOSES:
As directed by the Physician.

STORAGE:
Keep in cool dry& dark place. Protect from direct sunlight.
